Frequently Asked Questions — Tantric Massage Courses & Workshops

Where to train in Tantric massage in Lyon?

Toucher de Soie® offers immersive workshops and professional training in tantric massage in Lyon.

Is the couples workshop only for couples experiencing difficulties?

No. The Couples' Workshop is for couples who wish to rediscover intimacy, as well as for those who simply want to spend quality time together, explore touch in a different way, and enrich their relationship in a guided and respectful setting.

Do you need to be comfortable with your body to take part in a workshop or training?

No. The couples' workshop and training sessions are not exclusively for people already comfortable with touch or intimacy. They are specifically designed as a guided, progressive, and respectful space, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace, without pressure to perform or any particular expectations. The primary goal is to rediscover presence, attentive listening, and a different relationship with one's body, as well as to foster a better quality of relationship with oneself and with others.

What's the difference between a discovery internship and vocational training?

The discovery internship offers an introduction to tantric touch, while the professional training provides in-depth learning for practitioners.

Is the internship accessible without massage experience?

Yes. The 4-day workshop is accessible to beginners, individuals and professionals looking to discover tantric massage and conscious touch in a structured and progressive setting.

Tantric massage is a spiritual practice that aims to increase intimacy and energy flow between partners, whereas erotic massage is purely for sexual pleasure.

Tantric massage is not based on a pursuit of performance or immediate satisfaction. The Toucher de Soi® approach uses breath, slowness, quality of presence, and body awareness to explore a more holistic relationship with the body, desire, and intimacy.

Is the training intended for individuals or professionals?

Both. Some courses and workshops are open to individuals wishing to discover tantric massage for themselves or in their relationship. The professional path is for practitioners who wish to integrate this approach into their practice.

What will we learn during the 4-day internship?

The internship allows participants to discover the fundamentals of Tantric massage: quality of touch, breath, presence, body awareness, relationship with others, and a holistic approach to the body within a progressive, respectful, and supervised framework.
