Awakening the pelvis: the forgotten key to pleasure, vitality and awareness

What if it all started with the pelvis? The forgotten dance of intimacy

There's one thing we forget in our busy daily lives, our urban lives, the way we make love or even the way we breathe: is that our basin is alive.

It is not just an anatomical anchor point.

He is a key.

The centre of balance between our vital force, our anchorage and our sensuality.

And yet, how many of us have deserted it?

In both men and women, the pelvis is often rigid, locked and hardened, reflecting the tensions of modern life.

And when it comes to intimacy, this lack of flexibility has far more consequences than you might think.

The pond, the forgotten pond

In my tantric massage, in the training that I run, I see bodies in demand every day.

Bodies that want to feel, vibrate and breathe more deeply.

And very often, what gets in the way... is the centre. the pool.

One day, a man in his fifties confided in me: «I don't think I've ever moved my hips for anything other than sex.»

It was said with tenderness, but also with astonishment.

And yet it's so true, for so many men.

The pelvis is experienced as a mechanism, a tool, never as a "tool". a living matrix.

We spend hours sitting in tense, contracted postures.

We live in a culture that values mastery, efficiency and control.

And the pool?

It is home to letting go.

It is incompatible with voltage.

In intimate terms, this lock takes the form of :

  • a loss of sensation, or even mechanical pleasure,
  • a perineum without vitality or hypertonic,
  • or even an absence of deep-seated desire.

When dance awakened my body

Before discovering the Tantra, For a long time, I've been looking for a body language that would set me free.

I've done a lot of dancing. But this is the oriental dance that really moved me.

I still remember my early years.

I was absorbed. Fascinated. I practised every day, I even taught sometimes, I went on stage.

I felt beautiful, feminine, sacred.

It was my temple, my offering. I could have made it my vocation.

But one day, everything stopped.

I didn't feel perfect enough.

Other people's opinions, doubts, tiredness and inner pressure made me cut this link.

I stopped dancing. And with dancing, I felt that something of my femininity had been extinguished.

Later, I discovered yoga. Vinyasa at first, fluid and rhythmic. Then there were deeper, more subtle practices.

But it's in Nauli, Agni Sara, The fire breaths that I rediscovered... something ancient. The undulations in my belly reminded me of my dance.

The pulsations of the pelvis, tantric mudrās, energy locks...

Everything brought me back to this sacred dance of the body.

I stopped going to yoga classes.

I felt too stuck in an external form.

So I let my body breathe in a different way.

I've gone back to spontaneous postures.

I mixed breath, spanda, intuitive movements, outside any framework.

And I realised that I never wanted to be told how to dance again.

Today, I guide bodies to rediscover their own language.

What this means for men

(And why it's revolutionary)

Many of the men I accompany say to me: «I thought moving your pelvis was a woman's thing...».»

And yet...

A man who breathes in his pelvis becomes :

  • more deeply rooted,
  • more present,
  • more vibrant.

It's not effeminate. It's incarnate. It's strong.

It is virile, in the true sense of the word: one who is connected to his vital force.

When a man breathes through his perineum, his hips and his loins, he no longer cuts himself off from his sensuality.

It no longer needs to perform.

He smells.

And the wonderful thing is that by touching her pelvis, he's also touching her heart.

Because these two are linked by a thread of fire.

In Tantra, everything is connected.

The breath is the simplest tool, but also the most profound.

And when we learn to breathe with the perineum, with the uterus, with the hara, then the whole body becomes an instrument of awakening.

But this is not an academic yoga class. It's not Pilates revisited.

It's a sensory exploration.

When I guide a person in tantric massage, I often invite them to :

  • breathe through the perineum,
  • relax the stomach,
  • move your pelvis slowly and consciously.

And then... something happens. A light goes on.

A sacred fire rises again.

The person rediscovers that he or she is inhabiting a living body, not a machine.

Reconciling ancient and modern

You don't need to go to a ashram.

You don't need to do 100 sit-ups a day.

What you need is to feel.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath.

Place your hands on your lower abdomen.

And let it ripple.

Not to seduce. Not to look good.

To feel.

This is the beginning of reconciliation.

The pelvic dance: a ritual for everyone

Today, I create rituals to guide men and women to awaken the strength of their pelvis.

In my courses Or Touch of Silk®, I've opened a space where you can mix and match:

  • sacred oriental dance,
  • tantric kriyas,
  • deep breaths,
  • silence and music,
  • sensuality and spirituality.

Spaces where you can become yourself again, man or woman, without having to perform, without having to be perfect, just present.

Because the pool is a cradle of power, healing and creative fire.

Conclusion: This is not a detail. It's a revolution.

The pelvis is not just a joint.

It's a door.

Of life, pleasure, healing and awareness.

If you're a man, dare to reconnect with your pelvis.

If you're a woman, dare to revive this forgotten dance.

And if you are on a tantric or spiritual path, remember: the divine is not to be found outside.

It starts in the pool.

Of magic to Touch of Silk®,

With Tenderness,

Hajira
